This privacy policy explains how Papers AG (“we”, “us”) processes personal data when you use the Obsidio website and platform. It is provided to satisfy our obligations under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

- Contact data you submit via forms (name, email, organisation, message).
- Account data when you use the platform (login identifiers, role, audit-log entries).
- Technical data automatically logged on each request (IP address, user agent, timestamp).
- Cookies required to operate the site and, with your consent, analytics cookies (see §5).
3. Purposes & legal basis
- Responding to enquiries — necessary for the steps prior to entering a contract.
- Providing the Obsidio platform — performance of contract.
- Security, abuse prevention, audit logging — legitimate interest and legal obligation.
- Analytics — your explicit consent.
4. Recipients
Personal data is only shared with service providers that process it on our behalf (hosting, email, payment) under a data-processing agreement. We do not sell personal data.
5. Cookies & analytics
The site uses strictly-necessary cookies. Optional analytics cookies are loaded only after you opt in via the cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time.
6. Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes set out above, or as required by law (e.g. ten-year retention for accounting records).
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise these rights, email hello@obsidio.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or your local supervisory authority.
